Organizers of New York Comic Con 2014 expected a record-breaking attendance of more than 150,000 by the time all visitors to the Oct. 9-12 event at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City were tallied.
And many of those tens of thousands came to cosplay, colorfully done up as their favorite characters from superhero comics, sci-fi films, fantasy TV series and video games.
