You've seen the Peanuts special "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," but you've never seen it like this.

"Mystery Science Theater 3000" alums Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett, who now mock movies as Rifftrax, teamed up with Mashable.com for a nearly four-minute riff overlaying clips of the 1966 Charles Schulz classic.

In the Rifftrax version, Lucy's "been bitter ever since TV Guide panned her stand-up special."

Linus' night out in the "sincere" pumpkin patch with a sign welcoming the Great Pumpkin, "seems cute, but Heaven's Gate pretty much started the same way."

When Snoopy's favorite costume is explained as that of a World War I flying ace, Nelson expresses Lucy's shock with, "There was a World War ONE?"

And when a dust-clouded, ghost-costume-covered Pig Pen announces that his friends will "never know it's me under here," Murphy responds with a zinger of a guess: "MICKEY ROURKE?"

The Rifftrax comics obtained permission from the Peanuts empire to use the clip, and encouraged those who'd like to see a full-length version to tweet their request @Snoopy.

In addition to their online offerings, Rifftrax is selling tickets now for Oct. 30 and Nov. 4 in-theater riffings of the 1997 J.Lo/Ice Cube giant snake movie, "Anaconda."
