Those who skipped “American Idol’s” Wednesday night premiere not only missed the first glimpse of the newly revamped competition, they also missed the best worst performer the show has seen in seasons — Yoji “Pop” Asano.
While the 25-year-old "Idol" reject claimed he’s copied Michael Jackson’s moves since “before I was born,” he offered no explanation for his decision to team his routine with an odd-but-unforgettable version of Miley Cyrus’s “Party in the USA" for his big audition.
