On Monday, the singer debuted a bob haircut at a party celebrating her new album "Platinum." The singer's chin-length crop sat high above her strapless pink frock and simple pearl necklace.

While shorter hairstyles have been a hit with actresses — including Ashley Tisdale, Hayden Panettiere and Emma Roberts — all year long, Lambert is one of the few singers to take the plunge recently. She's in good company, though, with pop stars like Katy Perry and Hilary Duff already rocking the edgy bob.
