Milla Jovovich is best known for kicking zombie butt in the "Resident Evil" film franchise, but the actress has revealed that she's putting the upcoming sixth movie on hold because she's expecting her second child with her husband, director Paul W. S. Anderson.
"We thought it would be in everyone's best interest to wait till the baby is born before we set out to try and tackle and RE movie," Jovovich explained. "Between the stunt work and what will become my ever-expanding belly, we didn't think pregnancy and zombie killing are the best combo!"
The actress went on to say that they want to make the "best movie possible," which would be difficult to do with her pregnant. She hinted that the family would head to the filming location — Cape Town, South Africa — next summer to resume work on the project.
Jovovich and Anderson — who wrote the "Resident Evil" films and has directed several — met while filming the first movie in the series. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Ever, in 2007, and married in 2009.
