Her 50th birthday’s just two months away, but Madonna has too much to do to bother with getting older. The material mom recently told Life & Style how she holds back the years.
“I’m not going to get off this ride, stay home and get fat,” Madonna insisted. “I’ve got work to do, children to raise, a husband to please and a world to save.”
When she’s not busy, er, saving the world, the queen of pop spends a lot of time saving her youthful appearance. “I’d exercise three hours a day if I had nothing else to do. I swear by oxygen facials, and I’m obsessive about staying out of the sun.
As far as more drastic measures go, despite much-rumored cosmetic tweaks, Madonna will only say, “I’m not against plastic surgery — I’m against discussing it!”
Halle Berry looks forward to less work Now that she’s playing the role of a lifetime as a new mother, Halle Berry isn’t worried about landing other parts any time soon. In an interview with Star magazine, the “X-Men” actress shared her fresh outlook on life and work.
“I’m definitely going to work less,” Halle said. “I used to put so much pressure on myself to succeed that it often made me very unhappy in my personal life, and I felt on the verge of burning out three or four years ago. Also, I feel having a baby will open up a whole new world for me. I think I’ll actually find better roles, because I’ve gotten past being the ingénue and sex symbol.”
