"Scrape? This is all a complete lie. I've been at community service," Lohan tweeted. "Last night, I attempted to wish a friend happy birthday, which I didn't even get to do because I was freaked out by all of the paparazzi. These false accusations are absurd."

E! News can confirm the 25-year-old thesp has been at the Los Angeles County morgue today performing various clean-up duties as part of her probation in her DUI case.

The real question now is whether the purported victim -- whose identity has not yet been confirmed -- plans to file a criminal complaint against Lohan for supposedly leaving the scene of an accident and whether this will harm her comeback, which got a boost when she hosted "Saturday Night Live" on March 3.

According to Los Angeles police, the mishap occurred just before 1 a.m. in a Hollywood parking lot as Lohan attempted to manuever her Porsche past a horde of paparazzi and onlookers only to "brush up" against the man before she drove away.

The alleged victim, said to be from another country, called the cops. Per the LAPD, the man initially told officers he was not injured. However, he has since informed police that he went to the hospital later this morning, though no reason was given.

Lohan's attorney has so far yet to comment on whether the incident will pose a problem for the actress. But Lindsay's publicist, Steve Honig, tells E! that as far as they know, there's nothing to the matter.

"Lindsay stopped by the club to drop in on a friend's birthday party. When she arrived, there were so many photographers there that she decided to leave and never even got out of the car," said the rep. "At no point was there ever any indication that her car hit anyone or anything. We are confident this matter will be cleared up in the next few days."

Lohan is due back in court on March 29 when her probation is scheduled to end. At that point, the judge is supposed to decide whether her case will revert to summary probation, under which she wouldn't be required to regularly check-in with a probation officer.
