It was a rockin’ Tuesday night on “Late Night” when David Bowie and Axl Rose took the stage — sort of.

What actually happened was that host Jimmy Fallon and his guest, actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, channeled the rockers for an impressive karaoke showdown.

First up was Fallon, who sang Foster the People’s “Pumped Up Kicks” with dead-on Bowie delivery.

Then Gordon-Levitt took the microphone for his rendition of Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone,” in true screeching, squirming Rose fashion.

After that unforgettable number, the musical impressionists joined forces for Lady Gaga’s “Edge of Glory” as only Bowie and Rose could (but never would) do it.
