A bad day for pop star Justin Bieber turned into a banner night for late-night TV hosts. The singer's arrest in Florida — and subsequent charges for DUI, driving without a valid license and resisting arrest — was the highlight of Thursday night's monologues and more.

On "The Tonight Show," Jay Leno presented the news as a coup for the country.

"President Obama announced today that America's No. 1 domestic terrorist has been apprehended," he deadpanned. "They finally arrested Justin Bieber, ladies and gentlemen. He is in custody! ... We don't have to live in fear anymore!"

Car-lover Leno also took aim at the so-called drag race that led to the Bieber's bust.

"Justin was caught going 60 miles per hour a Lamborghini," Leno teased. "Oooh, 60 miles per hour in a Lamborghini. Hey, Justin! It's called second gear — try it some time."

Over on "Late Night," Jimmy Fallon confessed he was shocked by the Bieber racing news.

"(It) is pretty surprising when you hear the only race car he'd been in before that was his bed," he joked.

As for any potential punishment the pop star might face, Fallon warned it could be bad for the alleged egger-turner-racer.

"He could get up to two years being his own neighbor, which is just awful — it's awful," he added.

"Late Show's" David Letterman devoted his entire Top 10 to the 19-year-old hit maker with a roundup of Bieber headlines we're likely to see in the near future.

Conan O'Brien took a friendly swipe at the singer ... and the state he was arrested in.

"Police reports said Bieber's blood contained large amounts of alcohol, pot and Flintstone's Chewables — a lot of Barney in there," he quipped to his "Conan" audience. "Police have charged Bieber with impersonating a resident of Florida."

And on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," the focus was more on Bieber's fans than the man behind the alleged crimes, as Kimmel put the spotlight on Twitter reactions.

"No one is talking about the real victims here, the people who aren't in jail meeting Justin Bieber," the funnyman mused.
