La Toya Jackson is returning to the small screen. After appearing on several reality shows -- including season 11 of "Celebrity Apprentice" and guest judging Cycle 17 of "America's Next Top Model" -- she's getting her very own program.
Oprah Winfrey's OWN announced Thursday that the singer will star in "Life With La Toya," which the network describes as "a candid look inside the life of the outspoken Jackson sibling." Viewers can expect to see her juggle her relationships with her famous family members and watch her grow her business. The show is expected to debut in 2013.
"I am so pleased to be working with television legend Oprah Winfrey and to be a part of the OWN family," Jackson told Variety. "This will be one of the most exciting adventures of my life.
"We've laid the ground work at OWN with Oprah's popular series and now it's time to build on that success with these brand new shows," Erik Logan, president of the network, said in a statement. OWN will also be launching "The Customer Is Always Right" and "Neighborvention" next year.
