Hoda's new dog Blake is coming home with her this weekend, and she's getting plenty of advice on his care…some wanted, and some not.

Many viewers weighed in on the KLGH Facebook page with training tips (like one fan who told Hoda not to give him liquor — thanks, fella). It's a nice way to help her out in the pet parent process.

Less nice, though, was the viewer who cut out the middle man and sent Hoda an anonymous, passive-aggressive email about why she shouldn't use dog crates.

"People are very open with advice," said Hoda, adding that she has gotten a lot of helpful suggestions, in addition to being "browbeaten" by the unknown dispenser of puppy tips.

KLG, who is a noted Non-Fan of the Internet, agreed, calling out "secret people" for hiding behind anonymity to be jerks online.

"Come out of the shadows, come out of the darkness, say who you are if you have something to say. Otherwise we don't hear you, we don't listen to you," she said, adding, "Don't be a cockroach," which is just pretty good advice, in general.
