Justin Bieber was a hot topic on the Fourth Hour chat on Monday thanks to his latest gaffe, in which he left a very weird entry in the guest book at the Anne Frank house in Amsterdam.

Quoth Justin: "Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a Belieber." (A "Belieber," Kathie Lee and Hoda explained, is the name for one of the singer's legions of young teen fans.)

Some people were (very reasonably) upset by Justin's cavalier and Bieber-centric message. But KLG said it was just an instance of him being too young and famous.

"I don't think he meant anything disrespectful by it," she mused, adding the incident only proves the Biebs is "out of touch."

Hoda added, "He seems to keep stepping in it."

KLG is a huge fan of Bieber's mother Patty, and says that he should probably spend some time with her again and less with the kooky, bad-influence music industry types he's running with these days.

"He has no sense of reality," KLG sighed. But she noted, "He's a good kid."
