As if Taylor Armstrong of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" hadn't been through enough already, the new episode airing next Monday promises another dark moment for her.
In a clip that Bravo is sharing exclusively with The Clicker, fellow housewives Kim and Kyle Richards sit the widow down (husband Russell committed suicide in 2011) for a serious chat.
"I'm not going to sugar coat it or be afraid to tell you, this isn't just about the other night. I do recognize when I see somebody that I feel has a drinking problem," Kim, who has fought her own battles against alcohol abuse, tells her friend in the clip.
The concerns about Taylor's drinking came to a peak on Monday night's episode, when she called to tell Kim she would be missing Kim's nose unveiling party. (Yes, really, a shindig to celebrate a nose perfected by plastic surgery.) Taylor, whom Kim had put on speakerphone, explained that she had fallen in love and was going to jet away for a few days. When Kyle piped in to say that she had Taylor's young daughter, Kennedy, Taylor sounded confused as to her daughter's whereabouts, leading the Richards sisters to worry that their friend was drinking so much she wasn't keeping track of her child.
As Taylor explains in our exclusive clip, it wasn't because she was drunk that she didn't know where Kennedy was -- though she admitted in her latest Bravo blog to being a little tipsy -- this was simply a case of "miscommunication" among her, her mother and the nanny.
In her blog, Taylor blasted the scenario surrounding the whereabouts of her daughter. "This week's episode makes it look like I wasn't keeping track of my precious Kennedy. Nothing could be further from the truth. And Kyle knows it," she wrote. Taylor explained that it was Kyle who took Kennedy off her nanny's hands so the little girl could play with Kyle's daughter Portia, and that the nanny had neglected to inform her about the change in plans.
It was a point that fellow housewife Lisa Vanderpump backed up in her blog. "I recall Kyle telling me the nanny was going to collect her and a decision was made for Kennedy to stay, unbeknownst to Taylor," she wrote.
