Like it or not, Kim Kardashian's appearance on Lifetime's "Drop Dead Diva" is upon us. When the show's fourth season premieres on Sunday night, her character, love guru Nikki, will be introduced.
When news broke in January that the reality TV personality was joining the cast for several episodes, fans of the show complained loudly on our Facebook page:
" 'Drop Dead Diva' will have one less viewer," wrote reader Joann Gardner.
"Nooooooooo!!!!! They just ruined my favorite show :(" said Brittany Gill.
And those were some of the nicer comments among the outpouring of negative thoughts.
"I’m disappointed when people say ‘I’m not watching,’ because of one person coming on to a show," creator Josh Berman told our partner The Hollywood Reporter. He also said that he was surprised by the reaction. "Good or bad, I'm really hoping the viewers will give her a shot and give the show a shot to see what she brings to it."
Kardashian's character, Nikki, will be helping Stacy (April Bowlby) try to heal her recently broken heart. In the process, Nikki will come between Stacy and BFF Jane/Deb (Brooke Elliott).
