Need to comfort a wailing baby? Just put on Katy Perry's 2013 song "Dark Horse." The tune worked as a mood-enhancer for one little girl, and the resulting viral video posted on Monday was closing in on 1 million views by Tuesday.
The baby fusses angrily in her car seat until the beginning notes of Perry's song kick in, and then her eyes grow large and she waves her tiny hands in delight, going on to bob her head, smile, giggle and very nearly attempt to sing along.
The best part? Perry herself saw the video and offered to babysit — if the little one's parents throw in some Oreos, that is.
Perry's not the first singer whose music has proven to have special powers with the tiniest tots. Back in 2012, a London boy didn't show much enthusiasm for his meals until PSY's "Gangnam Style" was played.
