If you've ever mistaken Kate Beckinsale for Ryan Reynolds before, apparently you're not alone.
Beckinsale used her Throwback Thursday this week on Twitter to poke fun at a minor internet phenomenon that has fans discussing how much the two stars look alike. (Go ahead, Google their names together. We'll wait.)
Beckinsale got in on the hilarity by sharing similar side-by-shots of herself and the Canadian actor.
"#TBT to when I saw the poster for the movie “The Change-Up" and thought @vancityreynolds was me for a second," Becksinsale joked, tagging Reynolds in her tweet.
The British actress immediately followed that up by tweeting the black-and-white photos.
"I've made peace with my resemblance to a rugged and muscular Canadian man...and my God we were great in #Deadpool," she quipped.
The talented twinsies have actually never made a film together, but Beckinsale's tweet may pique the interest of savvy Hollywood producers. (Hmm. A remake of "The Parent Trap," anyone?)
It's not the first time Beckinsale has gotten creative with throwback photos.
In May, the 42-year-old actress gathered up her ex-husband, actor Michael Sheen, and their daughter, Lily Mo Sheen, to re-create a photo they took on the day Lily Mo was born — 17 years before!
Keep up the excellent throwback photos, Kate Beckinsale — or is that Ryan Reynolds?!
