A report that the famous Kardashians planned to a create a travel business is absolutely "not true," a rep for family matriarch Kris Jenner told TODAY.

But that hasn't stopped tourism bureaus in the past from associating themselves with the family that currently graces the cover of Vogue. After a vacation-themed episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" aired in June 2012, the Dominican Republic's tourism department launched a "Vacation like a Kardashian" contest featuring a "5-day/4-night stay in an Elite Balcony room at Casa de Campo" on the golden Southeast Coast.

While the trip itself sounds spectacular, the behavior of one of the Kardashians while on vacation was not. While in the Dominican Republic, Kris Jenner allegedly drove a jet ski while drunk and brought daughter Kim along for the ride. "I don’t think you’re supposed to operate vehicles or heavy machinery once you’re heavily intoxicated," said daughter Khloe

Despite their travel foibles, at least one Kardashian appears to be continuing the family vacation tradition. Kim Kardashian is currently traveling with husband Kanye West and daughter North West for the pop star's Yeezus tour. "I think it's important to see different cultures and lifestyles," she told Us Weekly. "I didn't start traveling internationally until I was a bit older, and I learned so much. I can't wait to show her the world."
