The gates to "Jurassic World" are officially reopening in 2018.
Universal Pictures officially announced the sequel to the blockbuster hit Thursday afternoon, confirming stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will return, along with executive producer Steven Spielberg.
It's no surprise the franchise is coming back for another bite — "Jurassic World" had the biggest global debut of all time, and recently surpassed "The Avengers" to become the third-highest grossing movie of all time, having raked in more than $1.5 billion.
