A New Jersey mom battling stage 4 lung cancer has just had one of her biggest dreams come true: She came face-to-face with her rock hero, Jon Bon Jovi — and it was no quick meet-and-greet.
The Jersey-born musician surprised Carol Cesario as she and her family dined at his nonprofit restaurant, JBJ Soul Kitchen in Toms River. And he even pulled up a seat to join them.

"Spending over a hour with all of us, letting her hear his new album, and giving her a signed guitar and book," Cesario's daughter, Rose Skripkunis, wrote of the visit on Facebook.
Skirpkunis called it a "very emotional and amazing day."
"You have no idea what this meant to us," Skripkunis added. "This is a day we will never forget."
And it's a day she can take some credit for, too.

Skripkunis started a social media campaign on her mother's behalf weeks ago in hopes of attracting Bon Jovi's attention.
"Since the 80’s she has loved him," one message read. "At one point when I was really young I thought he was my dad LOL."
"He's a real life angel," another of Cesario's daughters, Shell, wrote of the rocker after he met her mom.
