Beware, celebs! Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski have turned their critical fashion eyes from Olympic figure skating to the Oscars red carpet.
And on TODAY Monday, they told it like it is.
"The ladies really brought it,'' Lipinski said.
Vote: Who wore it best on the red carpet?
"Lupita was incredible in that baby blue Prada,'' Weir said. "It was very balletic. The fullness was very dramatic. And the pressure was so high because she is the fashion 'it' girl of the moment. She did very well."
"The color was so amazing,'' Lipinski said. "She's usually in more structured, classic, clean lines and this was that princess moment."
However, Nyong'o's outfit wasn't completely mistake-free, according to the duo.
"The only thing I didn't like was the headband,'' Weir said. "We're not in gym class. We're at the Oscars."
"I thought Cate Blanchett was gorgeous," said Lipinski. "She was a golden, glittering, beautiful woman coming down the red carpet."
Blanchett's gold-hued sparkle ended up suiting her night: She won Best Actress for her performance in "Blue Jasmine." Weir called her Armani gown "foamy and ethereal."
"She dressed for it certainly,'' Weir said. "As my spirit animal, she didn't disappoint me."
The former figure skating stars and current style mavens appeared on TODAY with Al Roker and Kathie Lee Gifford to discuss Sunday's misses as well as hits.
Weir and Lipinski rated model Chrissy Teigen and actresses Kate Hudson and Jennifer Lawrence among the best-dressed. Jada Pinkett Smith and Emma Watson, not so much.
"Jada Pinkett Smith was not my favorite dress,'' Lipinski said of the blush Versace gown. "She's tiny like me, and it was just the fabric and the way it laid. It was just a little too much."
"Emma Watson did not impress me,'' Weir said, of the presenter's sleeveless Vera Wang dress. "I felt like she dressed up to go to school or to clap erasers or do something that was anything but the Oscars."
The BFFs bickered over Pharrell Williams' shorts.
"It's the Oscars,'' Lipinski said. "I feel like you need a full pant."
"You don't need a full pant,'' Weir said. "You can go in shorts. It gets very hot under those lights. He was just looking out for his personal hygiene and his personal shine level."
Overall, Lipinski gave the Oscars fashion an 8.5. Weir gave it a 9. Lipinski rated Jennifer Lawrence's latest accidental faceplant on the red carpet an 11 on a scale of 1-10.
"She can do no wrong,'' Lipinski said.
The two also rated one of the most fashionable couples of the night — themselves.
"Tara Lipinski looked phenomenal — ethereal, white,'' Weir said. "Very, very pure and just lovely old-Hollywood style.
"I had a very handsome date,'' Lipinski said.
