John Mayer says he's no womanizer

John Mayer may have a reputation as a bit of a Romeo, but the singer-songwriter doesn't see things that way. He says he's never cheated, and bows out gracefully when a relationship goes south.

Jennifer Aniston’s main squeeze is coming to his own defense.

While John Mayer remains respectfully tight-lipped on all things Jen, he spoke openly to the Telegraph’s Seven magazine about his love-‘em-and-leave-‘em lothario reputation.

“Instead of worrying about career damage, I've dated women,” the singer-songwriter stated plainly. “All I've ever done was decided that I fancied somebody, and said, ‘Would you like to go out and get a meal somewhere?’ And done so in a social setting, where other people can see you. And then maybe ‘Would you like to go have another meal?’ Maybe did that a few times.”

As for the allegation that he broke a few hearts along the way, John doesn’t see it that way. According to him, all he ever tried to do was bow out gracefully when things weren’t working.

“When I realized that I didn't wanna wrong anybody by continuing, (I) said, ‘I'd rather be a great friend to you than a bad boyfriend,’” John insisted. “I swear to God, I have a really good track record!”

Deftly cutting off any potential wrecked-relationship rumors before they start, John added, “I've never cheated on anybody, so you won't have anybody coming out the woodwork saying that I have.”

Johnny Depp keeps the wine flowingThere’s not an empty glass on the set of Johnny Depp’s upcoming film “Public Enemies,” thanks to the star himself. The Daily Mirror reports that Johnny, who portrays notorious gangster John Dillinger in the film, employed a personal BYOB policy.

“Johnny's a fine-wine buff and has his own vineyard in the South of France,” a source revealed. “He's had 10 crates of his own wine shipped over to keep him going.”

As it turns out, the actor takes his wine seriously and has a hand in every step of its production, “from selecting the grapes to working the machinery,” the insider said.

Since 10 crates wouldn’t supply everyone on the set, generous Johnny even shipped in additional bottles of Bordeaux to keep the wine flowing.

“It's fair to say that he's made filming a far more enjoyable experience,” the insider told the Mirror.

Dish on the flyAs hard as it may be to believe, Kelly Osbourne swears her party days are behind her. “I was going out a lot, I was drinking a lot and it wasn't attractive,” Ozzy's daughter told the UK’s Closer magazine. “The social scene has finished for me. I'm not falling out of clubs every night like lots of celebs my age — I wouldn't be a functional human being if I was.” … Forget about Kate and Jack, the real “Lost” romance is happening behind the scenes. According to reports, Evangeline Lilly, who plays Kate on the island drama, plans to marry her former co-star Dominic Monaghan, aka the late, great Charlie. “Evangeline and Dominic have been spending a lot of time together during the show's hiatus and are very excited about the future,” an insider said in a quote posted to CelebEdge. “Evangeline accepted Dom's proposal while they were away together and they both agree Hawaii is the perfect place for the wedding — both as a location and for sentimental reasons.” But don’t expect wedding bells right away, as the source claims the exact date is still just “another 'Lost' mystery!”
