Scarlett Johansson has been cast as a voice actor in “The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie,” set to hit the big screen on Nov. 19.
The film is based on the popular Nickelodeon animated series.
Johansson, the 19-year-old star of “Lost in Translation,” will voice a new character named Mindy, daughter of the cantankerous undersea leader King Neptune (Jeffrey Tambor). Alec Baldwin will voice Dennis, a ruthless hit man, Nickelodeon Movies announced Wednesday.
