Break out the awkward dancing! Julia Louis-Dreyfus is reuniting with Jerry Seinfeld on his Crackle Web series, "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee."
The New York Times reported Tuesday that the Emmy-winning "Veep" star, who played Elaine Benes on "Seinfeld," will rejoin her former co-star for the sixth season of the digital documentary.
Regarding other "Seinfeld" primary cast members, Michael Richards, who played Cosmo Kramer, made a memorable and emotional appearance in the series' first season — then returned last season as fictional Crackle boss Dick Corcoran.
And while Jason Alexander, who played George Costanza, has yet to pop in for "Coffee" as an official guest, he reprised his old role when he and Seinfeld appeared in a 2014 Super Bowl ad to promote the series. (Also appearing in character in that spot: Wayne Knight, complete with Seinfeld's requisite, "Hello, Newman.")
More recently, Richards and Alexander appeared with Seinfeld at a charity event last month.
Also slated to appear in the Seinfeld vehicle(s) this season are Stephen Colbert and Trevor Noah, the new hosts of "Late Show" and "The Daily Show," respectively. Jim Carrey, Steve Harvey and Bill Maher round out Seinfeld's season-six picks, although Seinfeld's old alter-ego might insist they're "not a pick!"
