Dr. Carlisle Cullen and Kelly Taylor, say it ain't so!
Jennie Garth of "Beverly Hills 90210" fame and husband Peter Facinelli, who plays the adoptive father of vampire Edward Cullen in the "Twilight" series, are splitting up after more than a decade of marriage and three daughters.
“While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children,” a statement from the couple reads. "We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time.”
The couple met in 1996 while filming the TV movie "An Unfinished Affair" and wed in 2001. It was Garth's second marriage, Facinelli's first.
Facinelli can be seen as Carlisle Cullen in the final "Twilight" movie, "Breaking Dawn Part 2," which opens Nov. 16.
The couple's daughters are Luca Bella, 14; Lola Ray, 9; and Fiona Eve, 5.
