How Jeffrey Tambor quieted the Emmy orchestra with a Hebrew phrase

When actor Jeffrey Tambor was accepting the Emmy award for lead actor in a comedy series in 2016 for his role as Maura Pfefferman in Amazon’s “Transparent,” he encouraged Hollywood to hire more transgender actors and crew. He also used Hebrew to stop the orchestra from forcing him to wrap up his speech.
