Hot stuff: Shirtless man holding dog asks TV reporter on date near wildfire
It's getting hot in here! A shirtless man holding a dog took his game to another level Tuesday when he asked KTLA reporter Courtney Friel on a date during a live report on a wildfire near Los Angeles.
"Do you live around here?" Friel asked the approaching man while she was reporting on a fire in Rancho Cucamonga, 39 miles east of L.A.

Against a smoky backdrop, with high winds whipping trees, the man — holding what appears to be a Jack Russell Terrier — said, "Wow, you're super pretty, you wanna go on a date sometime?"
Friel told the man he was live on the air and pressed on. "Do you live in one of these houses? Are you evacuating?"
"I live down the street, I was just checking out the fire," the man said of the blaze, which the Los Angeles Times reported had "exploded" to 800 acres on Wednesday. When asked by Friel what he thought of the fire, the man said, "It's pretty cool."
KTLA tweeted the video at Friel and told her, "Way to keep your cool."
For her part, the reporter shared a number of fire photos on Twitter, and one of herself in which she said she'd "been through war."
