"Home Alone" marks its 25th anniversary this year, and the maternal bond between Catherine O'Hara and her onscreen son Macaulay Culkin is still strong.
When O'Hara, now 60, appeared on "Watch What Happens Live" Tuesday night to promote her new comedy, "Schitt's Creek," one viewer posed a burning question: "Do you still keep in touch with Macaulay Culkin at all?"
Fans of the hit 1990 film were delighted to hear that she and Culkin, now 34, ran into each other not too long ago.
"I hadn't seen him for years and years, but I saw him two years ago — or a year-and-a-half ago — at a Martin Mull art opening, and he was coming out, and he went, 'Mommy!' And I said, 'Baby!'"
"My husband, who's usually cool about these things, was like, 'Okay, both of you get together, I'm getting a picture!' And he got beautiful pictures on his phone, which I wish I had to show," she added.
"He was living in Paris at the time and he looked lovely, and he was doing really well, and I was happy to see him."
We can only hope that Culkin also made his famed "Home Alone" face when he spotted O'Hara.
