A question in the Social Q's column of The New York Times (penned by TODAY friend Philip Galanes) hit home for Hoda: What do you do when people are always messing up your name?

A woman named Taryn wrote in to ask how to handle the constant mispronunciation. Philip suggested preemptively pointing out how to say it right, perhaps by noting a word that it rhymes with.

Trouble is, that strategy doesn't work so well for Hoda, who said she's been called "Yoda" on more than one occasion (even during a particularly harowing "Dateline" interview) and would rather not encourage the connection.

That's when Kathie Lee helpfully suggested her own mnemonic, "Ho with a duh," which got a big guffaw from the crew.

"Please don't laugh at her jokes," Hoda sighed. Unlikely!
