Dwayne Johnson, the wrestler formerly known as The Rock, who at one time smelled what was cooking, appears to be adding lion and wild boar to the menu. The actor slays those beasts and more in a new trailer for "Hercules."
Johnson — whose action resumé also includes "G.I. Joe: Retaliation," "The Scorpion King" and "Fast & Furious 6" among others — stars as the long-haired, club-wielding demigod.
Before he was a legend, he was a man, the trailer tells us. But then the question is raised: Is he only the legend, or is he the truth behind the legend?
Perhaps the box office numbers will offer the only true measure. "Hercules" is scheduled to open in theaters July 25.
