"Mad Men" fans aren't the only ones eager for the show to return. After negotiations between AMC and creator Matt Weiner for a fifth season dragged on and delayed the program's return until 2012, star Christina Hendricks is ready to slip back into the role of Joan Harris.
"We're going to get back to filming next month," the actress confirmed to Parade.com. "We don't have an exact date, but we're all very anxious and excited. I want to get the show back on the air because I know lots of people are waiting!"
At the end of season four, Joan revealed her pregnancy to hubby Greg (though not the tidbit about Roger Sterling being the father), so expect to see Hendricks sporting a baby bump. But will co-star January Jones, who plays Betty Francis, also be sporting one now that she's confirmed her pregnancy? Or will writers keep that off the small screen?
"I don't know what's going to happen yet," Hendricks said in the Parade interview. She told the magazine the writers are currently hard at work, but that she has yet to receive the first script.
