Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's relationship is no longer under wraps; if anything, it's been taken to a whole new level.

As Stefani, 46, told Jimmy Kimmel in plain terms on Tuesday during "Jimmy Kimmel Live," her new song "Make Me Like You" is about the country star, 39.

When he asked, she responded: "It is, actually. I will admit that that song is about that guy."

Stefani, who split from longtime husband Gavin Rossdale last August, went on to offer a brief but emotional summary explaining her mindset in writing it.

"What's so crazy is that sometimes tragedy, if you really absorb it, you can turn it into something beautiful, and this whole album is about trying to take something that's awful, and healing from it."

She also talked about the thrill of recording a live music video for the song, which happened Monday night during the Grammys.

"We've been talking about it since Christmas, and, you know, planning it, and just ... every little detail," she admitted.

Another tiny clue that the song's about her love life? The bar she's standing on in one of the colorful music video scenes is called "Blake's."

"Now, was that for Blake Lively or Blake Griffin?" Kimmel joked.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's excessive PDA at Clive Davis' pre-Grammys party Sunday night also helped put an end to any remaining doubts about the pair's status as an item.
