The song is ending for Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale. The musicians are calling their marriage quits after 13 years together.
The couple said in a statement, "While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment. To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time."
According to E! News, papers filed by "Voice" coach Stefani cite irreconcilable differences as the reason behind the split. She's also asking for joint custody of their three children: Kingston (9), Zuma (6) and Apollo (1). Her paperwork also asks to deny Rossdale spousal support.
The pair met in 1995, when Stefani's then-band No Doubt opened for Rossdale's band Bush. They wed in 2002.
Just this March, Stefani told Cosmopolitan, "I never really saw myself landing a guy that hot. I don't know if I was a nerd in high school, but I definitely wasn't the super-cute cheerleader so I never saw myself getting somebody like that."
She added, "We go through so much together — it's a miracle that we could stay together this long."
