The second round of battles on "The Voice" saw singers face off in particularly fierce vocal showdowns, but the toughest spot on the show might not have been on the stage. According to the quartet of coaches, they were the ones in the hot seats this week.
"Watching it at home, you guys will never understand the type pressure we're under," Usher reveals in a web exclusive NBC is sharing first with TODAY.
"Battles are really tough," Shakira agrees. "Especially because I always have the feeling I'm making the wrong decision."
But even when it's definitely the right call, it isn't easy.
"You just feel bad," Blake Shelton says of the selection process that ends in one team member going home.
But it's Shelton's playful pal (or sometimes friendly foe) Adam Levine who prefers to look at the bright side.
"It' never fun to send somebody home, but you've got to just try to look at it positively," he says in the clip. "I mean, it's a win; it's amazing. They get to perform in front of millions of people."
