Writing a country song is tough, especially if you haven't recently had your pickup truck stolen by your cheatin' woman. So Kathie Lee and Billy Ray Cyrus asked our Facebook pals to help write a song, and sang your lyrics live on TV Wednesday.
Here's the bit they asked fans to finish: "You wear the leather, and you wear the lace. We'll get together, and you can..."
And here are the fan suggestions:
"...begin the chase"
"…lick my face"
"…go to space"
And here are a couple that didn't make the air.
From fan Janis: "...reupholster my chaise"
From fan Carolyn: "...come to my place"
From fan Sarah: "...protect yourself with mace!"
"Is this how Sonny and Cher got together?" asked Billy Ray.
"No, this is what broke them apart." said KLG.
Now it's up to you guys to write the chorus! Here's the rest of the song...
"I'll bring the wine and I'll bring the liquor
We'll get together and see who gets sicker
There's nothing more tough or tender
Than when leather and lace get together."
Head over to the Kathie Lee and Hoda Facebook page with your suggestions, and, duh, friend us if you haven't!
