The Hollywood Reporter said that a Montreal police spokesperson told them on Tuesday that local officers were called to a hotel "concerning a conflict" between a man and a woman at 2 a.m. The woman was arrested, but as the spokesperson added, "No charges were pressed on her."
Without those charges, no name was officially disclosed, said THR; E! Online connected Roberts -- whose aunt is Julia Roberts and father is actor Eric Roberts -- with the arrest, however.
Roberts, 22, has been dating Evan Peters, 26, who was also reportedly in the hotel room and on the other side of the dispute. He was not taken into custody.
The couple released a joint statement later, noting, "It was an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding. Ms. Roberts was released after questioning and the couple are working together to move past it."
