Duff-Lohan feud hits sour note

Scoop: The feud between Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan has turned musical.

The feud between Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan has turned musical.

The two teen rivals have been at odds since last year, when Lohan discovered that Duff was dating her ex-boyfriend, singer Aaron Carter. Since then, they have been trading barbs, and Lohan allegedly even left nasty messages on Duff’s answering machine.

Now, Duff is hitting back in a song. The 17-year-old singer has just released a self-titled CD and sources say that one of the songs, “Haters,” is aimed primarily at Lohan.

“Hilary thinks that Lindsay has been directing negativity at her for too long,” says one insider.

In one verse of “Haters,” Duff sings: “You’re the queen of superficiality/Keep your lies out of my reality.”  In another she declares: “You say your boyfriend’s sweet and kind/But you’ve still got your eyes on mine.”

Duff’s rep didn’t respond to requests for comment.

Speaking of Lindsay Lohan, she’s among the celebs expected at a star-studded book party launching Kabbalah leader Yehuda Berg’s "The Red String Book."

Berg has written the tome to explain the mystical powers of the trendy red string, which supposedly wards off the “evil eye” of enemies and which an increasing number of Hollywood types have been tying around their wrists.

Also expected at the party, says a Kabbalah insider, are Paris Hilton, Nicole Ritchie, Demi Moore and Aston Kutcher. The party will be held at Kitson, an upscale retail store in Beverly Hills on October 26 and will be catered by Nobu.

“The theme is red,” says the insider. “So the sushi, sake, etc. will all be red. And Yehuhda Berg will be tying red strings on the guests’ wrists.”

Sounds like Lohan might need that string to ward off Duff’s evil eye.

But the policemen really didn’t see the funny side.”   . . . Looking to buy something for the pervy who has everything? Pamela Anderson’s used undies are .  . . .
