Earlier in the week, the ladies were seriously grossed out when their pal Anderson Cooper admitted that he never washes his jeans. On an episode of "Anderson Live," style expert Stacey London actually took his dirty dungarees to a lab, which found that there were actual biohazardous materials on them. Blecch!

If someone as gorgeous and famous as Anderson can have stuff growing on his pants, what about the common man? Kathie Lee and Hoda asked all of you out there how you go between washes.

Some of you said you laundered after each wear ("You lie," said KLG), while some admitted that it was every few months, or "never."

But don't worry -- there's not a whole lot of danger in going too long between washes. A student at the University of Alberta went fifteen months without washing his, and found out that the bacteria levels weren't cause for concern. It may even add to the lifespan of your favorite pair.

Besides, a little grime is worth it, style-wise. "Once they fit you perfectly," pronounced KLG, "you don't want to touch them."

In more ways than one.
