Did Twitter Cause Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth's split?

So much for their three weddings, let alone one: It looks like Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth may have broken off their engagement.

According to the New York Post, "Miley and Liam are done; it’s over. She likes to party really hard and can be pretty wild. It became a problem for him."

Hemsworth has been spotted this week in his native Australia, hanging out with brother Chris Hemsworth, sister-in-law Elsa Pataky and his niece India Rose, while Cyrus has been snapped by photographers around Los Angeles sans engagement ring.

"They have broken up before, and are broken up again now," a source told The Post.

But we suspect 20-year-old Cyrus acting like a 20-year-old wasn't the only contributing factor to this split. The Post's source says "there was drama because she suspected he had a wandering eye," causing Cyrus to angrily tweet a denial that the Hunger Games actor had cheated on her. She then quit Twitter for, like, a minute.

But here's the thing: Could the "Decisions" singer's Twitter addiction have caused a rift between her and her much more private fiancé? (We kind of question any celebrity's reliance on the site when they choose to tweet a public statement about the status of their relationship.)
