The Texas Rangers weren't the only ones to get off to a tough start at the World Series on Wednesday night. "American Idol" champ Scotty McCreery was on hand to perform "The Star-Spangled Banner," but it didn't exactly go off without a hitch.
When the country crooner started singing, the stadium heard nothing -- because McCreery's mic wasn't on. Things seemed to go better after the technical snafu was corrected ... that is, until he neared the end of our national anthem. Take a listen:
