When "Dexter's" eighth season premieres June 30, Deb and her brother clearly have mixed feelings about Capt. Maria LaGuerta's demise.

"A better person would feel bad about LaGuerta's death, but the truth is it solved all my problems," voices the serial killer, played by Michael C. hall, in a new Showtime promo for both "Dexter" and "Ray Donovan," the new drama starring Liev Schreiber.

But Miami Metro Homicide's volatile lieutenant, Debra Morgan (Jennifer Carpenter), bitterly regrets firing on her captain in the season seven finale. In fact, she wishes she'd pulled the trigger on her adopted brother instead.

"I shot the wrong person in that trailer," Deb tells Dexter in the video segment, aptly captioned "Bad Blood."

"All my life I thought I needed you," she sobs. "It was the other way around."

Actually, both Morgans must rely on each other's silence to stay out of jail -- or worse.

Will the killer siblings survive the eighth (and likely last) season of "Dexter"? Share your theories on our Facebook page!
