It's hard to imagine, but in his "Full House" heyday, easy-on-the-eyes actor John Stamos had trouble with the ladies.

The problem wasn't that he couldn't find a beautiful woman to spend his time with — it's that he'd often find too many. Good thing Uncle Jesse was able to rely on his good pal, Uncle Joey, to help out.

Yes, co-star Dave Coulier often came to Stamos' "rescue" back in the day, as he explained in an interview with AMP 103.3 FM.

"John would call me up — here's why John is such a great guy — he would call me up and say, 'Hey, do you know any guys that could come over because there's five girls sitting in my pool right now and I need some help?'" Coulier recalled. "So I would call my knucklehead hockey buddies in LA, and I'd go, 'Hey, we have to go over to John's house and help him right now because there are some supermodels sitting around his pool and he's a little overwhelmed.'"

No doubt there were plenty of pals who would have been happy to offer that kind of help, and Coulier knew it and appreciated the fringe benefits of friendship with Stamos.

"When I was a single guy, it used to be great," he explained. "You'd ski in John Stamos' wake and supermodels were bouncing off of him. It was pretty special. ... I had never seen anything like that before."

But things are different today, at least for Coulier, who's now a married man.

Coulier married Melissa Bring last year, and once again, Stamos (along with a few other familiar faces from "Full House"), was there for him.
