‘Dancing’ is ‘probably the best thing’ for Lohan

According to a show insider, they’d love to have her. “Lindsay is the perfect candidate. Who wouldn’t want to see Lindsay do it?” the source told Life & Style.

SCRAM bracelets and dancing shoes are not quite peas and carrots, but according to “Dancing With the Stars” alum Aiden Turner, the show is exactly what Lindsay Lohan needs to get her life back together. “It’s probably the best thing for Lindsay right now,” the “All My Children” star told Life & Style magazine.

According to a show insider, they’d love to have her. “Lindsay is the perfect candidate. Who wouldn’t want to see Lindsay do it?” the source told the magazine.

Reps for the show don’t comment on casting, but one show source said that casting does go on year-round, and “anything is possible.”

As for Lohan’s willingness, it’s a stretch. “Lindsay is focused on her acting career,” said one person with knowledge of her post-probation plans.

No ‘Glee’ for Miley
Miley Cyrus’ music might have been featured on “Glee,” but don’t expect her to be making an appearance as a guest star anytime soon — Cyrus isn’t much of a fan of the show.

“Honestly, musicals? I just can’t,” Cyrus said to Billboard in its June issue. “What if this was real life and I was just walking down the street on Rodeo Drive and all of a sudden I just burst into song about how much I love shoes?” Cyrus answered her own question by saying, “It would get hits on YouTube.”

The end of Cyrus’ “Hannah Montana” and her apparent disdain for “Glee” would be reason enough to believe she’s probably not interested in television acting projects. And her upcoming slate of movies drives that point home. Cyrus will next appear in “LOL: Laugh Out Loud” opposite Demi Moore, and she’s attached to three more films still in development, according to IMDb.

Gosselin’s new gal might not be stepmom material Jon Gosselin might not have a television show any longer, but he’s still making headlines, especially now that he’s got a new girlfriend, 23-year-old Ellen Ross. She might not be a stepmother in training, though.

Ross “hates kids, but she wants to be famous,” according to one source who spoke to Us Weekly. Another source who also spoke to the magazine said that Ross wanted to meet Gosselin’s eight kids because she “knew it would get her attention.”

The 23-year-old did get to meet the brood: On May 21, she was photographed at a playground with the kids.

According to Us, Jon’s camp is denying there’s any fame element to the relationship. “Ellen is great with kids and she’s not using Jon for fame,” a source close to Gosselin said.
