L.A. police have confirmed that "Curb Your Enthusiasm" actor and comedian Jeff Garlin was arrested on a felony vandalism charge after arguing with another motorist about a parking space, reports The Associated Press.

The 51-year-old actor was arrested after reportedly smashing the windows of the other driver's car. He was jailed on $20,000 bail after being arrested on Saturday.

It was unclear whether he remained in jail or was able to post bail; AP reporters noted that his publicists did not immediately respond to phone and email messages on Sunday.

Garlin has been seen on "Curb" along with other TV series like "Mad About You," and in films including "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me."
