Cheeky! Who knows English slang better: KLG or Hoda?

With the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games just hours away, Kathie Lee and Hoda were joined by Huffington Post celebrity columnist and resident Brit Rob Shuter, who quizzed the ladies on who knows their British slang better.

Instead of buzzers, both KLG and Hoda were given English horns to signal when they knew the answer.

The first question was, "If I say you have the biggest gob, to what am I referring?"

With a blow of her horn Hoda was first answer. "Mouth!" she said, and scored the first point. She turned to the crowd for applause.

"That's also why she can blow that," KLG said, pointing to the horn. "Because she's got a bigger gob than I've got."

But Hoda's winning streak didn't last long, as the ladies both incorrectly identified "blower" as having to do with Hoda's obsession with her hair. (It's actually British slang for phone.)

Then Hoda wanted to know what she could expect as a prize, even though she was only tied with KLG. "The prize is fantastic," Shuter assured her.

Hoda might've jinxed herself, as KLG won the next one. But Hoda soon caught up, correctly identifying a British police car as a "panda car."

In a tiebreaker, Hoda correctly identified "y-fronts" as men's underwear. The grand prize? Hoda had won her horn.

What a disappointment! "I don't want my horn," she said.

KLG handed over hers as well. "You can have mine too," she said.

"I hate these horns," Hoda said.

TODAY.com contributor Jillian Eugenios wouldn't mind taking those horns off Hoda's hands. They're the perfect way to ring in the Olympics (and she's sure her neighbors would appreciate it).
