Channing Tatum heated up the big screen with his chiseled bod in 2012’s “Magic Mike,” in which he played a stripper who dreams of designing furniture. With a sequel slated for 2015, Tatum says he’s been dreaming, too — about dessert.

The 6-foot-1-inch actor has put on some unwanted weight lately, he revealed in the new issue of GQ, straying from his ideal of about 180 pounds. "I'm still anywhere from 25 to 30 pounds over," Tatum told the magazine.

The “22 Jump Street” star said the extra padding grew from a tendency to “completely lose” himself in indulgent foods like fries and pizza. And he can’t resist a certain confection.

"I just love cake," Tatum enthused. "Confetti cake, to be specific. It has little colored candies inside the cake, and then you get the confetti icing, which is really hard to find sometimes.

“It's not icing with sprinkles on top,” the actor insisted. “It's icing that actually has candies inside of it. It's Funfetti icing."

Boozy beverages add to his liquid calorie load, he later admitted. "I probably drink too much, you know," Tatum said. "I'm probably a pretty high-functioning, I guess, you know, I would say, alcoholic, I guess."

That soon may change: Tatum said he’s swearing off the bottle for the four-month production of the "Magic Mike" sequel, rumored to be titled "Magic Mike XXL."

Until then, he’s not being too hard on himself, he said, declaring that he feels “fat and happy.”
