Go ahead and ogle that cubicle cutie with wild abandon: Couples who meet at work are more likely to stay together and even get married, according to a new study the ladies cited on Friday.
As TV fans know, workplace romance worked for Jim and Pam on “The Office.” It also worked for our own Kathie Lee Gifford.
KLG met her hubby, Frank Gifford, while the two worked “at a competitive show to this one” across town, she recalled.
The two were “great friends for four years” until the day KLG griped to Frank about the man she was seeing at the time. Frank asked KLG whether she planned to marry the guy.
“I said, ‘I might.’ He said, ‘No, you’re going to hang out with me until you’re over this guy,'" she said. "And I’m still hanging out with him."
The two will celebrate their 17th anniversary later this month.
