When Bruce Willis visited "The Late Show" Wednesday night, host David Letterman noted that the actor looked "a little different."
Willis, who has been sporting a smooth scalp for years, donned a thick brown toupée for the occasion. He explained the new look to Letterman.
"I recently had a dramatic birthday and I've just been very sentimental about it, and I decided to go back to the very first look that I ever did on the David Letterman show," said Willis, who turned 60 in March.
Letterman then showed a photo of Willis from 1985, in which the "Die Hard" star wore the nearly the same plaid shirt and striped sweater vest. And of course, he had a full head of hair, which clearly served as inspiration for last night's wig.
