A little over a month after revealing their engagement on a sneak peek of their reality show, "The Houstons: On Our Own," Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon have called off their plans to wed.
A source confirms to Us Weekly, "They did split. It will come out in the show." Another insider adds, "I think it has to do a lot with the family not liking Nick, considering he was a godson and then they became a couple. I'm sure there is a lot of, 'Would Whitney be OK with this?' going around."

Gordon, 22, announced his breakup with the 19-year-old daughter of the late Whitney Houston on Nov. 18, tweeting, "(Bobbi Kristina) and I are not engaged or dating. Just close like we have always been."
Bobbi Kristina simply alluded to the breakup in a series of her own tweets. "I guess it's time for me to follow what mom and the Lord put out on this path for me. Thankful. Mom. XXO."

Quietly confirming their relationship in the months following Houston's February 2012 death, the pair faced intense scrutiny: Gordon was informally adopted by Houston when he was 12 years old, and he and Bobbi Kristina grew up as siblings.
After announcing her engagement to her family on the Oct. 24 premiere of the Lifetime show, Bobbi Kristina said, "They wanna see us fail. I've got one thing to say: 'You won't.' "
