Ready to get crazy right now? Beyoncé is. She's releasing a "Platinum Edition" box set of the self-titled album she unveiled last December, in plenty of time for this year's holiday gift sets.
MTV News unveiled details of Bey's latest musical surprise Tuesday, following several frenzied hours online in which something was clearly coming from the uber-popular performer. So here's the by-the-numbers list of what you need to know about your next purchase:
- 2 CDs, 2 DVDs, including a live performance from the "Mrs. Carter Show World Tour"
- 10 songs on the "Live" DVD: "Run The World (Girls)," "***Flawless," "Get Me Bodied," "Blow," "Haunted," "Drunk In Love (Featuring Jay Z)," "1 + 1," "Partition," "Heaven," "XO"
- 2 new songs: "7/11" and "Ring Off"
- 4 new and unreleased remixes, including "Flawless" (with Nicki Minaj), "Drunk in Love" (with Jay Z and Kanye West), "Blow" (with Pharrell Williams) and "Standing on the Sun" (with Mr. Vegas)
- 1 original album (which had 14 songs and 17 videos)
- 1 mini-2015 Beyoncé calendar
Loyalists who already bought the original album in a digital format will now have a chance to add on the bonus materials.
"Beyoncé (The Platinum Edition)" is currently available for pre-order, with an official release date of Nov. 24.
