Bam Margera is speaking out about the tragic death of his best friend and "Jackass" co-star Ryan Dunn, telling E! that Dunn's accident was not the first of its kind. Moreover, it's not even the first time that Dunn had an accident in the spot where his fatal crash occurred.

"He flipped me in a car eight times at the same exact spot in 1996," Margera said. "Thank God I had my seat belt on, because [mutual friend and 'Jackass' co-star] Chris Raab put one on me, but my brother didn't have one on. He flew 40 feet. Thank God he's alive. But, like, Dunn was always a maniac at driving."

Margera also talked about his final conversation with Dunn, sorting through text messages that the two exchanged the night Dunn died.

"Stopping for a beer, be there when I can," was the last message sent from Dunn the night of the accident.

Had he known then what he knows now, Margera told E! that he would have made his friend hand over his keys so he wouldn't drive that night, but Dunn probably wouldn't have listened.
